Give Back with Habitat for Humanity

Marketplace Events has chosen Habitat for Humanity of Greater Nashville as the 2017 non-profit partner. Not only will the show educate visitors on the mission and purpose of Habitat for Humanity, it will also showcase the unique finds of Habitat’s ReStores. These home improvement stores and donation centers are located in Davidson, Dickson and Wilson counties and sell new and gently used furniture, appliances and home accessories at a fraction of the retail price.

Habitat for Humanity

Habitat will have a large exhibit space throughout the three-day show where attendees will learn about all aspects of Habitat for Humanity. From engaging with executives and shopping exclusive ReStore items to learning about volunteer opportunities in the community, attendees won’t want to miss this engaging booth.

Additionally, Habitat representatives will appear on the Lifestyle by At Home stage on Friday, March 10 to inform attendees on how to save time and money when renovating, remodeling or rebuilding. With Habitat’s DeConstruct program, skilled and insured professionals remove old cabinets, fixtures, building materials and more to sell them at the Habitat ReStores. The best part: deconstruction is free and participants might get a tax credit for their donations. DeConstruct is a major contributor to ReStore revenue and the environment.

Drill

Since it was established in 1985, Habitat of Greater Nashville has built or recycled more than 1,090 homes, more than 800 locally, and served more than 2,600 family members including 1,700 children. We look forward to seeing you at the show in support of our 2017 non-profit partner!
